James bought his share of the funeral home and changed the business name to Webb Noonan Funeral Home. He sold the business in 1999 and retired in 2005. David died in 1946, and the sons changed the business name back to Webb Funeral Home. With the help of their mother and their wives, Violet and Josephine, Webb Funeral Home grew and prospered.

With Gordon’s passing in 1960 and Alta Mae’s passing in 1961, Herbert was left as sole owner of the funeral home. Through the years, David maintained his livery service and the funeral home continued to have an ambulance service until 1966, when Herbert phased both out.
